Question Answered
How do you replace the lamp? Asked by Steve A. On Aug 18, 2026
There are a few steps to replace the lamp and/or module. To install a projector lamp with the housing, make sure the projector is unplugged and is sitting on a flat surface. Loosen the screw that holds the projector lamp module cover in place and remove the panel. Unplug the old projector lamp and remove it from the projector. To install a bare projector bulb, follow steps 1-2 above and remove the retaining clip, which holds the old lamp in place. Unscrew the screws connected to the bare projector bulb. Replace the old lamp with a brand new replacement bulb and fasten the clip. Tighten the screws.

What does OEM mean? Asked by craig l. On Sep 21, 2026
OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, which means we use the same lamp manufacturers as the projector companies. Benq uses PHILIPS and OSRAM and so do we.
