Question Answered

The lamp on my NEC NP610 persistently will not light. Will replacing the lamp fix that or is it a different issue? Asked by James L. On May 10, 2020

Yes, it's probably time for a new lamp. But before you replace it, check if the lamp and module are properly in place and check how many lamp hours you've used the lamp for. You can check how many lamp hours used by going to the Main Menu of the projector, then selecting Options, and Lamp/Filter Settings. There it will show the LAMP HOURS USED.

Question Answered

Why is this lamp overheating? Asked by Andreas L. On Jan 17, 2021

Overheating may be caused by issues with ventilation or machine heat dissipation; directly correlated with the functionality of the projector's fan. If your projector is shutting off, this means the fan may not be operating efficiently, or you need to clean/replace the projector filter. Make sure the fan is free of any dust build up.
